For those seeking an alternative to traditional, force-based methods, learning to correctly apply positive reinforcement (R+) can be transformative. I have always found the common "do as I say" approach to be at odds with the kind of partnership I strive for with my horses; I don't believe that style of interaction fosters a true, trusting relationship.

I offer R+ training sessions and consultations. Whether you are looking for personal guidance to get started with R+ or seeking help with challenging or fearful behaviors, I am here to help you reach your goals while respecting your horse's current mental and physical capabilities.

While I believe positive reinforcement is one of the most effective and well-understood training methods, our sessions may also incorporate non-escalating pressure and release (R-) alongside R+ to best support your horse's learning process.
